For many years, in addition to her clients, Joanne was the exclusive realtor of Dowling College for all properties they own around their Oakdale campus. Since the closing of the college in 2016, Joanne personally handled the sale of 34 Dowling-owned properties in Oakdale. Another accomplishment of which she is very proud is the recent sale of one of Sayville's last remaining farms. Believing there is always the right buyer, Joanne listed the property and ultimately sold it to a local farmer. Keeping the farm intact, and now watching it thrive, have been of great importance to her... knowing how important it was to the community.

Excelling in real estate came naturally to Joanne having come from a business background. She began her career at Cushman and Wakefield in Manhattan, and after two years worked directly for the president. Born and raised on Long Island, Joanne and her husband of 34 years bought their first home in Sayville in 1985, and raised there two children here.
